Hand Advice Guide

My brother asked me to give him some advice when it came to drawing a hand. He sent me a pic of one from a graphical novel he's creating digitally and wanted my opinion. I told him I'd be happy to red line it and give him a few pointers, and this was the end result.

He loved the tutorial/guide/advice so much he suggested I share it. It's been a long time since I've done any kind of tutorial so it was really fun and makes me want to do more.

Please keep in mind that this is not a HOW to draw a hand tutorial, but merely some advice on a hand already drawn. Hence the title, "Hand Advice Guide". I should probably sit down and actually do some drawing tutorials...
